Busy times at Rosedene Nurseries Durham Lane
Rosedene Nurseries at Durham Lane, which provides a breakfast and after school club for Durham Lane Primary School in Eaglescliffe, have been getting up to all sorts of late. They have been painting clay models, making art and displays about the under sea world, playing board games and with computers as well as practicing for piano exams (good luck!). Rosedene Nurseries raise over £800 for Comic Relief in Red Nose Day fundraising
Collectively Rosedene Nurseries settings raised over £820 for charity on Friday last week. Staff and children took part in an array of activities from cake sales, fancy dress and various sport and educational activities. Not only did Friday raise funds for well needed causes that Comic Relief supports, staff and children were able to learn about people in less fortunate positions than themselves. Durham Lane go red to raise money
Children and staff at Rosedene Nurseries Durham Lane have had a great time recently, particularly on Red Nose Day! The children have been getting involved in art and crafts, playing table tennis and digging for worms for our wormery! Children and Staff at various Rosedene Nursery settings enjoyed a range of activities on World Book Day. Rosedene at Saltburn dressed up and made characters out of playdough. Durham Lane dressed up and made book related items.
