Rosedene Nurseries at Durham Lane, which provides a breakfast and after school club for Durham Lane Primary School in Eaglescliffe, have been getting up to all sorts of late. They have been painting clay models, making art and displays about the under sea world, playing board games and with computers as well as practicing for piano exams (good luck!). Last week at Hemlington Initiative Centre the children learnt, first hand, about the life cycle of chickens. Children learnt about the eggs being put into the incubator and when the chickens hatched, the children were on hand to see them being born. Jacob won the talent competition for his fantastic detailed drawing Rosedene Nurseries at St. Paul's in Billingham hosted their own talent show last week! The panel watched on in amazement as children completed comedy, gymnastics, Lego and art performances. The winner was Jacob who did a fantastic detailed drawing and showed off his art talent.
