Rosedene Nurseries has opened its doors in Northallerton following the acquisition and major refurbishment of the former Sunflowers Day Nursery.
Company director Clare McCullagh cut a red ribbon alongside children who attended the open day and special guests Princess Elsa; Olaf the Snowman and the Incredible Hulk. Clare McCullagh said:
“We are delighted to open our doors as Rosedene in Northallerton. Our new nursery has undergone significant changes, now featuring a sensory area, rooms for children aged between 6 weeks and 12 years and a large outdoor play area with a variety of activities.”
At the open day parents and children were able to sample a range of food options prepared in the nursery kitchen. Rosedene Northallerton’s healthy menu includes daily fruit based snacks and wholesome main meals. Nursery manager Cheri Higgins added “we are so pleased with the developments at our nursery which have created a more engaging space for our children. We hope that parents and children have enjoyed the open day, the activities and food. We were delighted to have been able to register several new children on Saturday and look forward to added interest as a result of our open day.”
Rosedene Northallerton are holding a free stay and play session tomorrow (21st February – 10am -11:30am – 0-5 years) for parents to enjoy messy play and craft activities with their children. For those that weren’t able to make the open day this is a perfect chance to see the developments first hand.
The Rosedene staff would like to thank everyone who came along to support our opening and hope they enjoyed their day.
