Rosedene Nurseries set to raise money and have fun for Children in Need

Rosedene Nurseries will be taking part in a variety of activities during this week to raise money for Children in Need.

BBC Children in Need is the BBC's UK charity. Since 1980 it has raised over £600 million for disabled children and young people in the UK. One of the highlights is an annual telethon, which will be screened on the 17th November this year It will be televised on BBC One and BBC Two from 7:30 pm until 2 am. "Pudsey Bear" is BBC Children in Need Mascot.

Please find a list below of activities being planned at each of our Nursery settings:

Darlington:

Friday 17th November - Pyjamas day with a cake sale and sponsored toddle round the Northern Echo Stadium, home to Darlington Mowden Park Rugby Club

Hemlington Initiative Centre:

Friday 17th November - wear something yellow or spotty and a Teddy Bear's Picnic - bring your teddy!

Hemlington Children's Centre:

Friday 17th November - Pyjamas day, sing-a-thon, tombola and a cake sale

Easterside:

Friday 17th November - dress different day (superhero, princess, spots and strips, yellow, pyjamas and crazy hair), colouring competition, Pudsey Bear baking, and gluing and sticking superhero masks, cake and biscuit sale

Easterside Hub:

Friday 17th November - Pyjama's day and Pusdey activities

Ormesby:

Friday 17th November - pyjama day with a £1 donation, cake sale

Saltburn:

Friday 17th November - pyjamas day

Egglescliffe:

Friday 17th November - wear something spotty

Durham Lane children are welcome to join in on Egglescliffe activities when they come over.

Kader:

Friday 17th November - teddy bear picnic and wear spots/yellow. We'll also be playing guess the name of the duck for a prize

Sunrise:

Friday 17th November - dressing in wear something spotty and bring in your teddy bears

Hardwick:

Name the bear - 20p a go running all week

Friday 17th November - pyjamas Day - £1 donation

St. Paul's Billingham:

Friday 17th November - cake stall (with children making some cakes), tombola and a guess the sweets in the jar

Northallerton:

Thursday 16th November - Pudsey Picnic

Friday 17th November - wear something spotty

Northallerton OOSC:
