Rosedene Nurseries, a quality childcare provider with 16 settings in the North East, raised over £800 for Children in Need.
Whilst the annual telethon show raised over £50 million, the highest amount in the charities history, Rosedene’s Hemlington Children’s Centre setting successfully made over £300. Likewise, this figure is one of Rosedene’s highest figures for their charitable fundraising initiatives. The sing-a-thon at Hemlington Children’s Centre was a highlight and an activity which both children and staff fully embraced.
As part of Rosedene’s activities for Children in Need Pudsey Bear paid a visit to Rosedene Nurseries Kader, in Acklam. Much to the children’s amazement Pudsey spent time with the them and sat for photographs. Other activities included painting a giant Pudsey bear and decorating cakes and biscuits. Rosedene’s £800 plus total adds to Children in Need’s £650 million raised since the charities inception in 1980, a cause supported by Rosedene Nurseries from the very start.
With a geographical spread from Northallerton to Billingham and Darlington to Saltburn, Rosedene Nurseries has three settings graded Outstanding by Ofsted with all others rated, Good. For more information and to find your local setting visit the Rosedene Nurseries website.
