Rosedene Nurseries December Round-Up: A Month of Magic

As 2025 draws to a close, we’re reflecting on an incredible festive season across all our Rosedene early years nurseries across Teesside. December was filled with creativity, fun, community spirit and Christmas activities. Here’s a look back at the highlights that made this month so special. 

Santa Visits Rosedene 

The magic of Christmas came alive as Santa visited each of our nurseries! The children had the chance to meet Santa, and all received a special gift, creating unforgettable memories and smiles all around. These visits are a tradition at Rosedene, and we love seeing the excitement on the children’s faces when Father Christmas comes to visit. 

Festive Parent Events 

December was all about bringing families together. We hosted a variety of festive events for parents and children to enjoy from Polar Express themed Stay & Play’s, parent-only Sip & Paint Evenings, Forest School fire pit gatherings and Christmas family crafts! Parent partnerships are a top priority for us at Rosedene, so thank you to all who could attend! 

Festive Animal Visits to Stokesley and Northallerton 

Children at our Stokesley and Northallerton nurseries had the chance to meet donkey’s, Biscuit & Monty and the cheeky goat, Emily! The children loved petting, feeding and watching our four-legged friends, though we think our Rosedene team loved it even more! 

Supporting Our Community: Teesside at Christmas 

We were proud to take part in the Teesside at Christmas Parcel Donation Drive for the second time, helping to spread kindness and joy to families in need. Together, our children’s nurseries collected enough items for 60 parcels, which will help those less fortunate have something to open Christmas morning. Thank you to everyone who contributed – your generosity truly made a difference.

As we move into the new year, we’re excited to continue creating magical moments and meaningful learning experiences for our children and families.
