We’re so excited to share some wonderful news with our Rosedene families and those looking to join us – After 20 years, we are returning to Redcar!
Our brand new nursery is set to open in September 2025, and will be located in a familiar spot – the former pharmacy next to Sainsbury’s in Wheatlands Park. This building once housed a Rosedene nursery, and we’re thrilled to be breathing new life into it once again, creating a vibrant, nurturing space for children aged 0–4.
Redcar’s Nursery Manager has been part of Rosedene Nurseries for 7 years, as a Manager in another setting. Manager Alysha has a strong team of experienced early years educator on board, who are excited to create a nursery integral to the local Wheatlands community.

What You Can Expect from Rosedene Redcar:
Safe & Secure Early Years Experiences – Our carefully designed spaces offer a calm, caring, and stimulating environment for your child to grow.
Curiosity Approach Learning – We encourage child-led exploration to build confidence, independence, and creativity.

Funding for Children from 9 Months+ – We offer government-funded places to make quality childcare more accessible.
A Community-Backed Development
The redevelopment of Rosedene Redcar is partially funded by Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council, supported by the government’s Early Years Expansion Programme – a national effort to increase childcare availability for working families. We’re proud to be one of several providers helping to expand access to early years education in the region.
A Message from Our Managing Director
“Our ethos has always been about creating calm, nature-connected environments where children can grow in confidence and curiosity,” says Alice Haslam, Managing Director of Rosedene Nurseries.“At the Redcar setting, this will come to life through outdoor learning, a curiosity-led curriculum, and a nurturing team. We’re pleased to be working closely with Redcar & Cleveland Borough Council to bring this vision to life and support the growing demand for early years childcare in the community.”
