We’re Outstanding – Again! 🌟

We’re so excited to share some wonderful news with you – Rosedene Egglescliffe, in Stockton-on-Tees has been rated Outstanding in all areas by Ofsted following our recent inspection in April 2025! 🎉

This is the second time in a row we’ve received the highest possible rating, which puts us among the top-performing nurseries in the country – and it’s all thanks to the amazing children, families, and dedicated team here at Egglescliffe.

Based in the lovely grounds of Egglescliffe Church of England Primary School, our nursery was recognised for:

• The exceptional quality of education we provide

• The children’s fantastic behaviour, attitudes, and personal development

• The strong leadership and care shown by our whole team

  
  

The inspectors said, “Children thrive in this warm and nurturing nursery” and praised our thoughtfully planned environment that sparks curiosity and encourages children to stay focused and engaged in their learning.

They also highlighted how children are “utterly absorbed” in their learning and regularly retell stories with confidence and enthusiasm. Our team carefully tailors activities to suit each child, helping every little one make great progress in their own way.

What stood out most was the care and love that flows through everything we do. The report described our nursery as “a family” – something we’re especially proud of. The inspectors recognised how our strong partnerships with parents support children’s well-being and development in powerful ways.

This special moment is even more meaningful because our wonderful nursery manager, Jodie, is celebrating her 20th year with Rosedene this May! Her leadership and passion have played a huge part in our continued success, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
