ROSEDENE NURSERIES ARE 'ROYAL-READY'

Last week Rosedene Nurseries in Hemlington, held a host of royal-themed events to coincide with the launch of the Princess of Wales’ and the Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood's new campaign, Shaping Us. The campaign, shines a spotlight on the importance of early childhood years which shapes the adults we become.

Children at our Hemlington nursery spent an afternoon hosting an afternoon tea party, making paper crowns and learning about the royal family. We hope the activities inspire the Princess of Wales to visit one of our ten settings across Teesside and North Yorkshire as part of her wider campaign.

The Shaping Us campaign was launched in January 2023, by Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales and it aims to ensure that children have the best start in life to help future generations thrive.

Embracing this campaign, Rosedene Nurseries has forever championed the importance of engagement from a young age.

The campaign sees support from celebrities such as, Roman Kemp, Rochelle Humes, Jax Jones, Fearne Cotton, Giovanna Fletcher, Professor Green and more!

Since the first Rosedene nursery opened in 1991, we have recognised the importance of children’s early development. Rosedene's ‘curiosity-based learning’ allows youngsters to take a lead in what interests them, allowing them to have fun while learning. Our beach and forest school activities give children a wide appreciation for their environments. While well-being activities are made available to the families of children too, as part of a holistic approach to well-being and community.
